ABSTRACT
Like in medical technology it is important that a digital filter works with a high reliability. Information’s which are converting in the medical technique can be associated with a life-threatening situation. For this reason a digital filter must be implemented safety. In this documentation will be given an abtract about the functional safety, which based on IEC 61508 and also described how a digital filter will be implemented of a FPGA structure. In addition a safety concept will be presented which can let work the filter with a higher reliability.
