Research on land reclamation pattern in mining cities of loess plateau area—with Shuozhou city as an example

ABSTRACT

At present, the academia proceeds the study on land reclamation pattern mostly from the aspects of engineering technology or organization management, instead of classification for regional characteristics. Based on regional characteristics and main problems in land use, combined with natural, cultural and social development in local area, this research takes several typical kinds of land types for land reclamation as the research object, discusses the direction of land management. This paper based on a case study on Shuozhou city, combined with the local land reclamation planning work, in order to provide a typical case of land reclamation pattern research in loess plateau.
