ABSTRACT
Achieved result indicate the ability of the plant cells to biotransform human and veterinary pharmaceuticals, performing at least several detoxification steps (Kotyza et al. 2010).
These results were verified in reed (Phragmites australis L.) cells, tissues and whole plants and finally tested in real scale in constructed wetland with combined vertical and horizontal flow designed for agriculture waste waters cleaning.
