ABSTRACT
Therefore, it is of great significance for environmental protection, ecological civilization construction and food security to put forward the principal approaches to prevent and control heavy metal pollution in China at the present stage through analyzing the status and causes of heavy metal pollution in the mining areas and clarifying remediation technologies at home and abroad in a systematic way.
