ABSTRACT
In support of this EU eMaritime concept, the eMAR project develops and tests systems that enable easy exchange of documents and information in support of improved networking for the maritime industry stakeholders. One of the key elements of these systems is the Maritime Single Window, which aims to undertake an important role in the trade and transport chains by evolving to the single point of data entry. The approach that the eMAR has developed will be further analysed in the following paragraphs.
