ABSTRACT
Currently in open pit mining is only use basalt (mainly for the production of crushed stone). Accompanying it is tuff and breccia which are dump rock mass, which is stored and represents technogenic deposit with a high proportion of native copper, iron, titanium and other precious metals. Performed complex of research showed that basalt is a valuable mineral and requires complex processing for extracting useful components, contained in amounts representing the commercial interest and the possibility of their technical extraction.
