ABSTRACT
More and more attention is paid to the problems of evolution of the earth’s crust and its separate structural elements of all ranks and geological bodies of different scale, to their formation and subsequent changes from the position of geodynamics. Scales of manifestation of dynamic processes are different in time and in each region separately. A definite character of such processes is characteristic of the formation of the coal-bearing associations on the whole and at different stages of their development. These processes are similar on the whole, but they have their own distinctive features. The formation of the coal-bearing rock association in the territory of the Kovel coal area of the L’viv-Volyn’ Coal Basin (LVB) is such characteristic example.
