New approaches to the problem of sudden outburst of gas and coal dust

Zones with high gas recovery, in most cases, emerge with the sudden emission of methane in mines at the opening of the coal seams. The most likely cause of the sites with high gas recovery is the local development in coal seams of fluid conversion processes of coal in conjunction with stressstate state of coal and rocks (Trufanov et al. 2004).
