ABSTRACT
Coal extraction efficiency increase from thin coal seams on mines of Western Donbass in Ukraine under modern conditions of economic crisis is an important macroeconomical task. Effective use of modern high-production mechanized complexes in a stope is impossible without taking into account rock massif geomechanics. All this predefines the necessity to substantiate longwall rational length.
