ABSTRACT

When fastening the capital and, in some cases, the main development workings there was widespread use of sprayed concrete lining. The high degree of mechanization and other benefits of spray technology provided this type of roof support with opportunities for use in coal mine construction. One of the main drawbacks of this lining is its limited field of work – in the mode of steady pressure and the limit displacement, defined by different researchers in a wide range from 20 to 160 mm. This shortcoming limits the actual life of linings.
