ABSTRACT

Urban center is developed with detached closeset high-rise buildings, and its aspect ratio as well as impervious area is large. New central district, which is the new urban center by centralized planning due to requirements of population, land or functional structure development, is more characterized with high density. Such underlying surface influences local microclimate environment prominently. On the other hand, its outdoor spacial quality is of importance. Therefore, studying its UHI problem and thus finding methods to optimize its thermal environment, has important research value.
