On the other hand, mechanical parameters of loosened zone of surround rock are the key for stabilization analysis of large-scale cavern, which are mostly confirmed by complex feedback computation at present (Li et al. 2006, Chen et al. 2010, Zhang et al. 2011). However, huge computation quantity is involved in conduction where iterate computations are needed, take FLAC3D program for example: planar computation with thousands of elements needs several days during the whole process, 3D computation with hundreds thousands of elements should take about a week only for calculation. Such velocity is difficult to follow construction schedule, and can’t offer recommendation real time enough for safeguard of safety and quality. It is even especially for construction of large-scale underground cavern in hard rock that timeliness is emphasized in both bolt-shotcrete supporting and cross construction. Therefore, a kind of simple estimation method for loosened zone parameters is needed by construction practice.
