ABSTRACT
Overall, to obtain a proper cutting height, factors such as gas emission, supporting intensity, stability of rib and recovery rate of top coal must be included (Wang et al. 2012, Yu 2011, Cheng et al. 2012, Du & B 2012, Yu et al. 2012). Taking the full-mechanized caving mining of 3+5# coal as engineering background, Putting all these factors mentioned above together, the cutting height of a certain mine are acquired, so as to provide reference for the similar condition.
