ABSTRACT
Jiang xi. According to the characteristics of rock samples, phyllite was a kind of rock with more developed schistosity and low strength relatively, due to schistosity was easily broken and damage, the rock sample became difficult to meet precise dimensions requirements, so the test samples comprehensively adopted corresponding standards that formulated by ISRM. The test sample used the mode of cylindrical rock with a diameter of 50 mm and height-diameter ratio of 2.
