ABSTRACT

Methods estimating concrete strength with rebound hammers were compared. Targeted rebound hammers included type NR, type P and a new product Silver Schmidt, and the measured rebound number and rebound speed ratio were related to compressive strength. A method capable of applying the measured rebound data, which was not specified in the Japanese Industrial Standard JS A 1155 “Measurement of Rebound Number of Concrete”, to estimation of compressive strength was proposed.
