ABSTRACT
Recently, the maintenance, rehabilitation and repair of infrastructures have become a very important problem in all over the world. The purpose of this study is to perform fundamental investigations to find the damage level by using vibration data of piezoelectric elements. In usually, the inspection and judgment of damage level of structures are mostly carried out by expert viewings professional engineer. In this study, it is required to establish the useful and low cost sensing system for the judgment and diagnosis of structural damage level and its position. The method of sensing system, piezoelectric elements is put on the experimental structure, and measured voltage vibration data at the normal condition and damaged condition. In this way, the possibility of effects and application for real structures of the methods in this study is discussed from these results
