ABSTRACT

Reducing construction time and cost has always been big issue in construction industry and PC (Precast Concrete) has been treated as the solution because PC members are suitable for mass-production and fast construction. During the construction, the PC members manufactured from offsite factory are carried and placed in right position. This paper suggests onsite construction guide system for conveying PC (Precast Concrete) members by estimating 6-DOF of the members and visualizing its movement. Vision-based planar marker system measures relative 6-DOF between members in real time and the measured data can be reconstructed to visualize 3-D information of motions.
