ABSTRACT

Junction graphs are seamless block diagrams that function as diagrams for process or system pathways. A development from traditional block diagrams to impart more information to graphing systems.

Junction graphs are a development from the “embedded symbol notation linear block diagram” that had as a point of divergence from block diagrams the absence of connecting lines between blocks or cells in favor of “flow” arrows and space directed numeration symbols that served as indicators for the direction of the process pathway of a system (Tice,2008).
