ABSTRACT
LASER DEVICES AND THEIR APPLICATIONS e role of energy sources in skin health and rejuvenation has expanded greatly over the past 20 years. From the early argon and CO2 lasers to presentday fractional lasers and radiofrequency equipment, the ever-enlarging array of devices allows for many applications. On the other hand, that same large list has made the selection of the best equipment for particular skin maladies an ongoing challenge. In this chapter, we review lasers and other energy sources from rst principles and develop a logical proposal for optimal device selection.
