ABSTRACT
With the sustained economic development of China, the living standards of residents and the urbanization level of cities have been improved. In recent years, a large number of high-speed railways will begin operating in China, which will largely ease the tense relationship between supply and demand of the residents’ travel. The high-speed railway not only improves the regional traffic situation, but also has an important impact on the economic structure of each region which the high-speed railway passes through. Due to the quasi-public goods nature of Chinese high-speed railway, the external benefit of high-speed rail is an important part of its social and economic impact. Transportation as a mobile carrier of the national economy, which communicates with the production and consumption, is a very important factor in economic development.
