ABSTRACT
Neuropsychiatric disorders or psychopathology (these terms will be used interchangeably) offers asigni€cant and largely untapped opportunity for mHealth. Unlike other domains of medicine, the treatment for neuropsychiatric disability can be delivered directly through technology itself through utilizing carefully constructed instructional media designed to formulate alife perspective, build skills, and ultimately lead to altered neurodynamics and structural changes in the brain (Karlsson 2011; Linden 2006; Stahl 2012). Rather than simply being away to track adherence, supplement visits to health-care facilities, or measurecertain biomarkers in assisting clinicians, mHealth can directly deliver the psychoeducationalmaterial, social support, and therapeutic activities that clinical science suggests are ameliorative for psychiatric and psychological disorders.
