ABSTRACT

The issue of uplink interference cancellation at femtos in HetNet is addressed in this paper. A novel Cooperative Interference Cancellation scheme based on Null Space (CIC-NS) theory is presented. Partner femtos are selected to work together and enhance the receive signal ranks. A receiver vectors based on null space is derived to eliminate the uplink interference from macro MS. In order to separate the signal destined to femto from a specific femto MS from the aggregate receive signal, multi-user detection is adopted.
