In recent years, agricultural products E-commerce develops rapidly in such a high speed that people can hardly imagine. According to the data from White Paper on Agricultural Products E-commerce released by Alibaba Group Research Center, in 2010, the total value of agricultural products in the circulation area of China was 2.24 trillion, while the online trade volume accounted for less than 1%. In 2010, agricultural products trade volume of Taobao was 3.7 billion Yuan. In 2012, the number of online stores that sale agricultural products increased to a total of 260 thousand on the Alibaba platform, and the sales of agricultural products was rapidly enhanced to 19.8 billion Yuan. Alibaba Group Research Center estimates that every increase of 1% in the penetration rate of agricultural products to E-commerce will bring a market of over 20 billion Yuan. The business volume of agricultural products market will reach 50 billion Yuan in 2013, and 100 billion Yuan in 2014, which is equivalent to the total trade volume of Taobao in 2008.
