ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The aim of the article is to analyze the term of green marketing within Corporate Social Responsibility. Green marketing is one of the most important tools companies can use to highlight their activities in the field of environment and to get new customers and partners. Green marketing covers a wide range of activities, including product modifications, changes in the manufacturing process, packaging changes, as well as modification of the ads. It is not easy to define and specify the relationship between marketing and environmental protection. Sustainable marketing is for producers also a tool for improving competitive ability and position in the market. The situation behaviour of companies has changed in the Slovak Republic nowadays. Green marketing intends to promote, support and market products and services that are safe and friendly for the environment. One of the new projects to communicate green marketing of companies to the public is the “Step by step green project” started in 2011 in Slovakia. Promotion of businesses through green products could be the best way to a “Green Planet”.
