ABSTRACT
Judge Kamil Ivánek is a judge of the regional court in Bratislava. His main specialization is criminal law. In 1990, he joined the former municipal court in Bratislava as a judge trainee. In 1993, he was appointed a judge. He worked for 17 years at the rst instance court-the District Court Bratislava IVwhere he pursued a criminal agenda. He is now in his fourth year at the regional court in Bratislava where he deals exclusively with criminal matters. In 2001, he was selected to work on a pilot project on mediation and probation in criminal law in Slovakia and completed two internships at the court of appeal in 1996 and 2006.
