ABSTRACT
The walls were built in 1985 thanks to the Rexcoop program, controlled by the French Scientific and Technical Building Center (CSTB), near Grenoble, in a French Alpine valley, at an altitude of 212 m. The temperature of the site can vary from −20°C to 38°C for some particular years and its average varies from 2°C to 20°C. The annual rainfall is about 1000 mm, the direction of prevailing winds is NE-SW and the maximum wind speed is 21 m/s.
