ABSTRACT
The common characteristics of the traditional method for wind power prediction is very difficult to establish the analytical expression between the future of wind power and the various factors affecting wind power. This is one of the most important reasons of wind power prediction precision. An artificial neural network method does not need to write out the analytical expression between the future wind power and various influencing factors; one just research what factors should be used as input variables.
