ABSTRACT
The Internet of things was proposed based on the development of the Internet in 1999. This emerging industry was timely introduced to China, and also a significant progress has been achieved in technology. China has been in the important position of the Internet of things, and has become one of the dominant countries to make the international standards with the United States, Germany, and Britain. However, the business based on the Internet of things is still in its infancy in China, and has been not well-improved in the overall business technology and also some specific technical details are not implemented. At present, the development of the business based on the Internet of things is only based on the present economic development level in China, and the model, framework, and technical process of the foreign Internet of things are mainly imitated under the drive of the economic globalization, so that the core technologies are seriously in short. In the meantime, the business based on the Internet of things has a few troublesome problems in China: (1) core technology and independent patent technology are in short; (2) information security is hard to ensure; (3) pollution and energy consumption are severe; (4) enterprise scale is small; (5) the innovation system is not perfect.
