ABSTRACT
Environmental issues such as global warming and energy consumption have become the most critical challenges faced by the contemporary world. [1] Researchers are putting more and more attention to sustainable development, which is defined by the World Commission on Environment and Development as the “development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” Scholars propose the concept of “Product Service System”(PSS), providing utility to consumers instead of physical products. The development of PSS is becoming more and more important in achieving social, economic and environmental sustainability.
