1 INTRODUCTION
The problems of boiler combustion automatic control and optimization have been known as a worldwide problem. Many companies over the long-term studied to solve the ever-present in the process of coal combustion efficiency is low and the serious environmental pollution problems, such as the U.S. Pegasus company, Westinghouse, Tsinghua University, Xi’an Thermal Power Research Institute and Xiamen University. Since the combustion process is a multi-input, multioutput, strong variability, nonlinear relationships are very strong and complex systems, the boiler combustion system is very low in the level of automation. Most of the boilers are still in a state of manually operated. Foreign mainly based on the material balance and energy balance studies, but the basic idea of our study is the use of advanced control theory and oxygen content in the exhaust gas as the optimization objective in transformation and optimization of the boiler control system. Based on the material balance and energy balance studies ways demanding field conditions, corporate unbearable; analysis of the oxygen content of exhaust gas analysis instrumentation based
and self-healing control technology, intelligent soft servo technology, multi-devices and large scale system coordination optimization technology, and to achieve its safe operation, stable operation and economical operation [2]. Figure 1 shows the BCS technology is used combustion apparatus.
