ABSTRACT
In this study, tidal current model is using the large scale and local scale model for nested calculation, the open boundary of the local scale model is given by the large scale model. The west boundary of the large model is near Sanya city, the east boundary is near Lingshui Li Autonomous County, and the south boundary is along −90 m isobath. Simulation scope of large scale model is 50 km in east-west and 60 km in south-north, the small scale model is 20 km in east-west and 25 km in southnorth, see Figure 1. Through statistics, the mesh node number of local scale model is 32960.
