ABSTRACT
The study area, Salaxi karst rocky desertification comprehensive control demonstration area of Bijie City, 105°02′01″–105°08′09″E, is typical karst plateau and mountain potential-light rocky desertification area, with an average elevation of 1600 m. The main soil type is yellow soil. It's subtropical monsoon humid climate here. The annual average temperature is about 12 °C, and the frost-free period is 245 days, with 1360 hours of the annual average sunshine hours and 984.4 mm of the annual average rainfall. The vegetations are dominated by Cyclobalanopsis glauca and Pyracantha fortuneana.
