Measurement and analysis of acoustic environment of universities in Beijing

The types of the roads near the universities are different and the levels of the outside road’s noise are shown in Table 1.

There are two universities whose outside road’s noise level beyond 80 dB and only one university whose outside road’s noise level below 70 dB. Others’ noise levels are between 70 dB and 80 dB. It indicates the traffic noise pollution is very serious for most of the universities.
