Facile synthesis of AgBr-ZnO composite hollow microspheres with superior visible light photocatalytic activity

In this work, AgBr-ZnO composite hollow microspheres are synthesized through a simple chemical reaction, followed by an annealing treatment in air. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first successful fabrication of AgBr-ZnO composite hollow microspheres. AgBr-ZnO composite hollow microspheres exhibit excellent photocatalytic performance for the degradation of Methyl Orange (MO) and good recyclability under visible light illumination.
