ABSTRACT
The Pearl River Delta region of the South China has experienced tremendous growth in the past couple of decades. The rapidly developing industrial and agricultural activities, municipal development and use of chemicals caused serious environmental problems [1], and the Pearl River is seriously polluted [2].
