ABSTRACT

In this paper, we design an orthogonal modulation format based on RZ-DPSK format for the payload at 10 Gb/s and FSK format for the label at 155 Mb/s. The simulation system is designed and established to analysis the Bit Error Rate (BER) of signals by adjusting the ER of Mach-Zehnder Modulator (MZM), dispersion compensation, receiver power and distance of transmission. The simulation results show that the system designed of all-optical label switching technology based on RZ-DPSK/FSK orthogonal modulation format has better transmission performance.
