ABSTRACT

In compliance with the requirements of the Energy End-Consumption Efficiency Law (adopted on January 28, 2010) paragraph 17, and transitional provisions, paragraph 4, as well as in correspondence with the Directive 2012/27/ES of the European Parliament and Council on energy efficiency which amends the Directives 2009/125/ EK and 2010/30/ES, and cancels the Directives 2004/8/EK and 2006/32/EK (further-Directive 2012/27/ES), paragraph 24, item 2, a National Energy Efficiency Action Plan has been elaborated for the years 2014-2016, which is a continuation of the country’s energy efficiency planning to the Second Energy Efficiency Action Plan of the Republic of Latvia for 2011-2013, confirmed in 2011, which includes also an estimation of the First Energy Efficiency Action Plan of the Republic of Latvia for 2008-2010.
