Accurately forecasting the heat and wet conditions of the mine is an important problem in the theory of mine cooling. The calculation of humidity has an important influence on the forecast of the mine air temperature. Due to the more influence factors, and the complexity of the mine heat and wet exchange problem, at present the study of this problem is not enough. In the past, people often used the wet wall coefficient to estimate the degree of the wind heat and wet exchange in the mine. They thought that only the damp wall is likely to transfer wet to the wind, and ignored the mass transfer phenomenon between the wall and the wind, which is caused by the vapor molecules concentration difference or the vapor partial pressure difference. What’s more, it is very difficult to determine the wet wall coefficient. And it was expressed in the form of percentage according to the past experience. In fact, it was very difficult to reflect the actual circumstances of the heat and wet exchange in the laneway. Thus the forecast error of the mine air temperature increased. In this paper, on the basis of the wet exchange between the wind and the environment, we put forward the concept of the humidity coefficient and try to improve the reliability of the mine air temperature prediction using the iterative calculation method.
