ABSTRACT
Coking wastewater is a kind of intractable wastewater, which is from the process of coke producing, coal gas purifying and the products recovering. It has the characteristics of complex composition, degradation-resistant, high concentration and toxicity since containing a lot of inorganic and organic pollutants such as phenol, cyanide, ammonia nitrogen, cyanide and thiocyanide. It is significant to develop simple and efficient methods of coking wastewater treatment process in view of conservation of resources, protection of environment and sustainable development.
