ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: As an important water supply source, water quality of Chang Lake have been faced a serious problem, eutrophication which was caused mainly by high nutrients. Static Experiments in laboratory were carried out to research the contribution of sediment release to nutrients concentrations of Chang Lake. Release rate of CODMn and TN and the corresponding constants were simulated on the basis of experiments. The results shown that release rate of CODMn ranged from 0.41 m/d to 0.61 m/d, and release rate of TN ranged from 0.31 m/d to 0.48 m/d. And the release rate of CODMn and TN in different position of each were not identical.
