ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: Using the calculation method of Bootstrap, the average sinking depth of the fullscale fishing net (203.07-226.49 m) after GAM (Generalized Additive Model) standardization is 75-78% of the average sinking depth (275.94-286.51 m) after the conversion of physical model testing; the average sinking speed of the standardized model fishing net (0.095-0.107 m/s) is about 52% of the average sinking speed of the full-scale fishing net (0.185-0.203 m/s). The main reasons are: the full-scale fishing net is affected by the complex environmental factors (like stream current); the fishing net hauling time is not strictly controlled in the physical model testing; the discrepancy between selected standardized statistical method and the influential factors will impact the result of the contrastive analysis.
