ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: On volcanic reservoir of the Xushen Oilfield, the conventional logging method is difficult to identify gas or water due to poor lower difference resistivity, which is caused by heterogeneous of reservoir and complication of fluid. MDT test offers more parameters of fluid, such as pressure, resistivity and optical spectral. The methods of identifying fluid in volcanic rock are established: pressure gradient profile, dynamic variations of resistivity and optical spectral analysis can be used on Xunshen volcanic reservoir, which includes 7 wells 18 fluid zones. These methods add to our experience and to increase our capacities so as to identify gas-water zones more accurately, improving the accurateness to 85.7%.
