ABSTRACT
The current practice of colorectal surgery and pathology greatly benefits from the immediate triage of specimens, digital archiving of specimens, and multidisciplinary conference review. Proper handling of the specimen ensures high quality pathology reporting and greatly contributes to patient care delivered in a multidisciplinary setting.
