ABSTRACT

In the process of recognizing the objective world to human, there are two ways: one is sensing it directly; the other is knowing it by receiving education. In real life, human’s cognition of the objective world is mainly from education, so when taught, what students in the objective world faced with is the information carrier of the objective world rather than texts, graphics, and symbols. The purpose of education is to enable students to understand the objective world and improve practical operation abilities from observation, information extraction, analysis and deduction. From semiotics perspective, the knowledge system is a series of symbols that are arranged by specific rules, the representation of human’s cognition about the objective world and the meaningful expression about objective world. And human’s cognition of the objective world is the only medium [1]. In the education process, students are faced with a variety of symbols and in most subjects, what the students face is the abstract objections so it requires them to have a rational understanding of symbols. When teaching, teachers use rational ways to explain the cognitive object. However, sports teaching has its own particularity, that is, teachers use visual symbols because of the perceptual cognition of objects, namely perceptual symbols.
