ABSTRACT
The football match of China-Vietnam Festival in 1955 is said to be the earliest sports cooperation activity organized by two governments. From then on, including sports, China made many cultural cooperation agreements with Indonesia, Cambodia and some other ASEAN nations in succession. Nowadays, the subscription of China-ASEAN Cultural Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding, Nanning Declaration and China-ASEAN Cultural Industry Interactive Program require the continual enhancement of sports cooperation and bring sports in promoting mutual political trust and economic development into full play.
