ABSTRACT
The energy data provided in Energy Balance of China are expressed in Standard Quantity type (SQ) by heat value, and for secondary energy, the upstream energy losses caused by transformation sector have already been deducted. For mapping energy allocation diagram which does not show any energy losses and only illustrate the energy balance in each stages of energy flows, we need to compensate these energy losses and derive the adjusted data for secondary energy expressed in Primary Energy Quantity type (PEQ) which indicate the total primary energy consumed to produce these secondary energy for mapping energy allocation diagram of China, or expressed in CoalBased Primary Energy Quantity type (CBPEQ) which indicate the total coal consumed to produce secondary energy for mapping energy allocation diagram of coal. In follows, we first introduce the primary data from Energy Balance of China, then re-balanced data and conversion factors for programming, and finally how to generate PEQ and CBPEQ.
