ABSTRACT

Usually power electronic devices are interfaced with the grid by rectifier, the traditional rectifier circuit often uses the diode or thyristor phased rectifier, the power factor of the network side is low and the harmonic content is high, then improving the power factor and suppressing the harmonic have became major issue in research of power electronics. Active Power Factor Correction (APFC) technology has been widely used and has the small volume and lightweight. Single phase APFC technology is relatively mature while the three-phase APFC is still in the stage of development.
