ABSTRACT

The power supply technologies related with distributed energy resources, such as photovoltaic and wind power, can relieve the energy shortage and environment problems caused by the excessive consumption of traditional fossil fuels. However, the output power of distributed energy resources is random and intermittent. So when these distributed generations are connected to the power grid, they will easily affect the power supply security and energy quality of the power grid (Fakham et al. 2008 & 2011). Under the background of the government promoting the popularization and application of PV energy, the price of PV generation power has fallen dramatically. Combined the solar energy technology with energy storage technology, establishing the PV-Storage microgrid is an important and promising method to improve the ability of the power grid for PV energy integration and the power supply reliability of the heavy load area (Cai et al. 2013). The PV-Storage microgrid has many characteristics, such as improving the power supply reliability, enhancing the ability of disaster resisting and realizing the power supplying in the no-electricity area.
