ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is an important component of medical science. However, it is dicult for the international market to accept this precious treasure of China, because of the confusing therapeutic targets and the unclear mechanism. Bioinformatics is a novel inter discipline based on the mathematics, computer science and life science. Bioinformatics provides us a new technology to deal with the biological problems, which has a wide range of applications. So, it has great significance to study the mechanism of TCM utilizing bioinformatics. In this study, we collected the articles published in recent years, to analysis the usage of bioinformatics in the research of TCM resource, identification and functional gene selection. We wish that bioinformatics would provide new hope for the development of TCM.
