ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The eect of oil removal rate of ASP flooding produced water with pretreatment in an ultrasound cleaning tank was investigated in this study. Experiments were carried out with 28 kHz and 40 kHz ultrasonic irradiation at dierent treating times. The results showed that the emulsification of ASP flooding produced water pretreated by ultrasonic would decrease. The optimum condition of ultrasonic pretreatment was as following: voltage 220V, ultrasonic frequency 28 kHz, duty cycle 50%. A reduction of 90% of oil content could be reached after ultrasound irradiation. It can also be concluded that 2-4 h standing time after treated by ultrasound could enhance the oily water deoiling.
